this is an extension outta Couzifer's thread. I placed it here so yal who know abou the war back here can comment. bless.

The war's got hommies silent/
Violence appeals before it knocks on your doorstep/
forces fight yet the low-placed lifes are shown the price/
eyes to the world, drinking Koffi to stimulate peace/
'Please!' on their lips as local media sends pleas for their needs/
Beads of tears.I'll speak Swahili; A new lease for your ears/
*Hii ni ya, vijana wote wame madwa kwa slums/
guns za g.s.u kwa mikono Paramili'
mara mbili ODM ika-claim pana killings.
healing impossible, gava ni gonjwa- ina cough war
Kofuor akam wakasema aLikam kukunywa chai!

A translation be appropriate for ya'l who still at peace
this be about blooded grounds, yet spirits dont feel appeased.
Pissed at the power hungry leaders. cops kill us. shit.
shit aint changing, coz thieves know justice must stay buried
Worried that if truth upholds, humiliation's inevitable;
They comfortable saving face by dippin it in innocent blood, COZ THEY ABLE.

(*this is for all the youth killed in the slums
GSU(govt service unit of police) guns been put in the hands of palamilitary police
ODM(opposition party) claimed twice that the govt was killin ppls.
healin is impossible. the govt is sick, it coughs war(!)
Kofour(Ghanian president who cam to talk peace) came and ey claimed he came only to hav e cup of tea with the president!)

"coz thieves know justice must be burried..."
big up bro the truth will always be panful. and though it is our only weapon, this old men will do anything to either distort it or even change it with their own versions.
have you ever thought about this line in our national anthem'haki iwe ngao na mlinzi'-does it real reflect whats going on in our beloved home? didnt they change it to "UKABILA UWE NGAO NA UFISADI NDIO MLINZI" AND LIKE IMMORTAL I LOVE MY COUNTRY BUT I HATE THE PEOPLE IN CHARGE.
i think its time we all should do something to save this country though the old guards made it abit difficult for we as the youth to prosper we need to do something for ourselves and the coming generation.big up muki and the hiphop parliament such initiatives is what we need.PEACE
