my friends -who happen to be predominantly Chelsea and Arsenal fans- bin no gree make i hear word.they were so sure Man.Utd wasnt going to fare well in the league or in Europe.i kept telling em fellas it was too early(this was barely a two months into the season)to predict the outcome of the 8-9month competition.all my attempts @ rationalizing with them wer rebuffed with obviously jaundiced and biased statements-to the effect that Man.Utd wasnt in the reckoning for any silverware.
if only for all the times i had to put up with the asinine and uninformed commentaries on soccer by Arsenal and Chelsea fans,i live for and revel in the present torture of all Arsenal and Chelsea fans    .
...and it still aint personal :P .

BTW: Villa to the Emirartes next season... :?:
Imagine having Ade, Villa, RVP, Dudu, Walcott, and Vela... I see a lot more goals.
Fabregas as captain in my opinion, or Toure.
Manure are throwing names like Berbatov and Daniel Alvez about. That is pretty scary.... NOT 8)
Chelsea throwing names like Kaka and Messi about. Kaka- maybe, Messi - I think not!

The 19-year-old caught the eye of the Wenger during last yearâ??s under-19 European Championships and was subject to Arsenal interest in the winter. Wenger is thought to be prepared to spend £11 million on bringing the Castilla star to the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have previously succeeded in enticing notable young talent away from their original clubs, most obviously in the case of Cesc Fabregas. While being flattered at his comparisons with the ex-Barcelona midfielder, Parejo is reluctant to leave his hometown club. The player is adamant that he will bide his time and wait to break into the Madrid first team. He said: "For me, it is a compliment that such an important European team is showing interest. I have heard rumours but my intention is very clear - my dream is to succeed in Madrid. "Nobody dislikes something like that [being compared to Cesc Fabregas] but I prefer to look in the mirror and see Raul, Guti and Iker Casillas, three footballers who have come out of this youth system and have gone on to triumph in Madrid. I am young and I have patience."

The future of Obafemi Martins appears increasingly uncertain following reports that Arsenal have revived their interest in the Newcastle United strikerâ?¦ Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a long-time admirer of Martins and has been linked consistently with a move for the Nigerian international over the past two seasons. The time could not be riper for the Frenchman to seal a deal, as his squad would be alarmingly bereft of firepower should Emmanuel Adebayor succumb to the advances of AC Milan. But The Sun reports Magpies are demanding 15million for the 23-year-old a price Wenger is not prepared to match. Meanwhile, the former Internazionale hitman has grown weary of the constant speculation surrounding his future, having also been linked with Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona. A source close to Martins said: Oba just doesnt know whats going on any more.He loves the Toon fans so much but one minute Newcastle are desperate for him to stay, the next they are trying to sell him. But he would love to play for Arsene Wenger.
