There is so many people dieing because of crime and it is really making me crazy. How can one feel safe in such a dangerous country. I am proudly South Africa but SA is not my favourite country at the moment and it is not a nice feeling.

We are losing so many people to crime and I hate it. Last week we lost Lucky Dube because some assholes(sorry for the language) decided to take what belonged to him but like anyone he tried to fight.

This is really making me angry, very angry. Imagine if it was my mother. He was dropping off his kids for heavens sake. What is wrong with this world and the people that leave in it?Crime is everywhere and I am afraid come 2010, no one will want to come to SA for the world cup.

What do you think, am I crazy or am I realistic?

the same here..SA is a very nice place to be but dangerous to live..many innocent lives have been lost..lucky's death was more of a shocker..But who would want to live in a country where murder occurs in every 40 seconds?(if the statistics are right)..not to talk of theft..rape and other violence-related crimes..Germany was really exciting even though i wasn't there,The picture said enough for itself..But for the SA 2010, i don't see it happening..I mean take it or leave,ppl are now paranoid and I wouldn't be surprised if ppl start an anti-SA 2010 campaign..sad..

@ ms.kelly.....i understand you but just try to do somethin for ya country than not likin' it.Even in my own country,last week a scortish ambassador was shot on his way back home,a chinese woman was robbed and raped,is not only in ur place,the whole Africa is goin' mad..

I feel wat u sayin Ms.Kelly, but i don't think u and i can really do that much but just play our part while the system gets the best of us. All we can hope for is to get half an opportunity and we should use it to make a difference where we can.
