Help!!! my studio mic

Ayo! ive got a recording studio with all other equip. needed but i use a shure PG58 microphone, is dat ok for my proffessional recording or wat?....................someone help me out!!!

yo yo yo. depends what u r recording dawg. PGs are for performance. A SM58 would be better. But if you talking studio... think CONDENSOR. Quality, clarity, etc. Peace.

whats good...

The PG58 is an overall brilliant mic, as is the SM57,Sm58 SM58s etc........for performance. they work considerably well in the recording studio environment for dynamic mics but they are not ideal in that they do not pick up half as well as proper studio mics can.....

depending on your budget here are a few suggestions (cheap goin up)

studio projects B1/C1, AKG C2000B, The expensive (R1000 upwards) Behringers, RODE NT1A...

nice brands worth spending the extra couple of hundred are RODE, AKG, Sennheiser, SE Electronics,
