the last post on this topic was dated 9th jan 2009...am yet to see the mania about this mixtape...the truth still remains that protech is gifted and monarch is about the finest producer that really knows hiphop production.i heard black twang talk about monarchs works and all that, yes monarch is good! protech is ill!, but why is it always impossible to sell gully stuff?. one thing we all gat to consider first is that "ANYTHING CAN SELL",it is not necessary it has to be watered down or eclectic...blueprint,stillmatic,get rich or die trying,college drop out,etc, these are tight albums that sold, and for christ sake M I is selling...But the problem is that we tend to forget that hiphop is a movement, not just dope lyrics and phat beats. you dont sell hiphop work like you selling some fuji album,this is Nigeria it has to be done properly.hiphop has itz flambouyant nature that we really have to consider(am not refering the blinks and hoes),but letting the market know that you believe in what u dishing out. please people! am not just one communication freak, am a hiphop head just like the black rabbi or obi asika. all am saying is that it goes beyond the street, we gat to do it properly not with coins, blight recordz should know better....
