Nowadays everybody and their momma have a myspace page or another site with their music.
So we find that a lot of people come here to post a link to their sites. Some people even sign up just because they want to post a link. Often, these postings are advertizements in disguise. But sometimes they are actually interesting and relevant to the African hip hop community.

So we came up with this new rule, read carefully or you may find your message deleted!!

It is forbidden to post a message asking people to check out your site/music, except for the sections 'African Hip Hop Promos, Links & Collabos' if you are an African hip hop artist or announcing an African website.

If you post such a message in any other subforum, the message will be deleted and you will receive a warning or your account may be removed by one of our mods. Only exceptions are if the link you are posting is relevant to a discussion that has been going on, for example if someone is asking for people who wrote tracks about HIV and you have one on your site.' Also we do allow relevant links to be posted in the Country sections.

EXAMPLE:
-new user from lagos, nigeria signs up and immediately posts a message in the 'african hip hop discussion' forum asking people to please check out his myspace. --> WRONG! he should have posted to the 'African Hip Hop Promos, Links & Collabos' forum.

AFRICAN HIP HOP: this website and its forum are about Africa and the diaspora. Therefore, announcements about hip hop & other music that has no relationship whatsoever to Africa is generally out of place here.

I have a few links but most of my pages are linked to each other so it shouldnt be hard to figure out. The name is P.A.T. and I have been rapping since I was 9. I'm a solo rapper as well as a member of the group 360 with Jevon Moore. Also I'm I'm the Air Force and spent a lot of time in Africa and loved the experience.
