ayo, you sit around with your thumb up in your butt crack
i sit around with you girl up on my nutt sack
its time for me to make a number one come back
if yall wanna battle well let me pull up my sleeves
cause ill leave in a wheel chair like christopher reeve's
im me thats all i am 100 percent true street nigga
bars come out so fast you think im pulling a fcuking trigga
you just stand there lookin at me when i call you a faggot
if shit was reversed and i was you id drop you like a bad habbit
I’ll take all of those rhymes you flow and put you in your place
Take ya shit in reverse it and then spit it in your face
cause in this battle game your just a fcuking disgrace
so drop out and go to church and hang out with mase

hahah nuff playing around

once the clock stricks two ill be coming for you
i say its only me so you call your hole crew
they come to the door and they like "nigga its only one dude"
you like "ya but this nigga will still fcuking kill you"
dont need a gun cause my fist goes right threw your vest
you think its sick cause i ripped the first niggas heart outta his chest
i smiled and bit it and said wheres the rest
i see one nigga go for his glock say he run this block
so i shanked his ass and he fell faster than K-marts stock
the rest of the nigga's run and leave you son
you put ya hands up and dropped the gun
i take you out side and tell you we need to talk
then lay you down tell you to bit the sidewalk
drove by the next morning your ass was traced in white chalk
brains all over the concreate cause you liked to share your thought
sorry but i told you nigga thats what happens when you fcuking piss me off

if yall dont want to read all that here is a shorter breakdown of what a battle verse should look like..

Intro: - The First 2 Lines Of Any Rhyme. Should Catch The Audiences Attention

Multis: - Multiple Words In One Line That Rhyme Together. This Excludes The Same Word Twice.

Similies: - And Statement Using The Word(S) "Like" Or "As". Similies Wil Lbe Concepts That Immitate Something Else.

Wordplay: - A Phrase That's Stated One Way - But Has A Seperate Meaning, Such As " You Can't Coun't Past 3, Of Course You Never Met-A-Four". This Would Be A Concept That Utilizes Wordplay.

Originality: - How Original The Concepts In The Rhyme Are. Things Like "Gunplay" Are Not Original.

Flow: - A Rhyme's Ability To Stay On Beat Or To Maintain A Continual Rythm. This Can Be With Single Syllables Or Mutliple Syllables

Punchlines: - Jokes. Their Intended To Make A Listener/Reader Laugh. The Opposite Of A "Dart". Also A Concpet That Stretches Your Knowledge With The Ability To Comprehend A Meaning That Is Opposite Of What Your Intending To Say. Sort Of Like Wordplay

Darts: - Makes A "Point" About Someone. Not Intended To Be Humorous, Rather Intended To Educate Or Inform.

Personals/Nameplay/Aim - A Directed Attack On Someone Or Their Character. Also Known As "Aim". Without Personals, A Battle Will Be Loaded With "Generics" Which Are Lines That Can Be Said About Anyone And Are Not Specific.

Lyrics: - The Lines That Make Up A Rhyme. This Is The Foundation That All The Other Catagories Are Laid On.

Metas: - The Opposite Of Similies. Metaphors ARE What They Discuss. "I'm An Animal" Would Be A Metaphor.

Complexity: - The Full Mastery Of All The Catagories. Scentences That Contain Numerous Concepts Would Be An Example Of A Complex Line.

Finisher: - The Last Two Lines Of A Rhyme. These Are By Far The Most Important Lines In A Rhyme. By Not "Finishing" Properly, One Could Completely Blow Their Entire Rhyme. These Lines Should Be The Best Overall

i totally disagree with you man. the most important lines in a song are by far the beginning lines. once u start well a listener has no option but to get hooked. checkout most of the songs you love to death that you can recite word for word. which lines stick most in your brain...the first lines of course. the middle lines are also important cos it helps to prove the song is worth listening to from the beginning to the end. the last lines are the least important. yes there are some memorable last lines in some of our favourite songs but there are by far more memorable opening lines. one!

I read what bafkin wrote & thought it was a good idea. I thought he needed more examples on each topic coz thats how you learn. I don't think cats should hate I also Knew a lot of what he was talking about. I was also self thought and had a click and a few heads around me. Now imagine a person who wants to learn the art yet no one around him is a head or rapper. please hav constructive critism.Bafkin this is good idea we need to teach one another don't mind the haters knowlege is power. I think we should all contribute insight on everything hip-hop from the basics to recording. The MODS shud hear this and create a sort of hip-hip bible so we grow as Heads as mc's and as artists.

WORD HOMIE...U BROKE IT DA FUCK DOWN!

@trae : i don't really agree wit u there dawg. the "finisher" in a "battle rhyme"(not a song) is like the "grande finale". u just lay it down reaalllll smooth... u feel me?
