I hear Nigerian produces more films than Hollywood, I'm guessing they probably made a few. Know of any titles?

Are you doing a paper on African culture or something? Cos you always ask those next level questions - from languages to country info and movies...
This particular question made me curious too, and I guess there are some Nigerian, Ghanaian, Tanzanian soap-like videos in these genres...
I do have two Tanzanian martial arts videos which are poorly made, I guess these days you could get higher quality but this is like 1995/6...
one movie called Shamba Kubwa (large field) and the other one Unga Adui (cocaine the enemy)... its still fun, done by the Black Ninja Group from Tanga town in Tanzania, and in one of them there is an appearance of a rap crew. Lots of kung fu fighting going on.

The best African Movies are not in Nigeria. They are in North Africa. You’ll get a wide genre of movies, and then the best comedy movies come from South Africa. If you haven’t watched Mr. bones then you better watch it. Produced by Anat sigh the leading name in South African film industry. But there are some good movies that border between horror and ancient spiritualism. African culture has a different kind of horror compared to the Hollywood horror. So you may find movies about voodoo and zombies but no vampires. Try this link for a new movie that was just done in Tanzania.

8) I have seen outstanding newspaper animated series around, but the film and TV industry is not there yet. But this is a story that will stand side by side with superman Spiderman and the rest. I think our cartoonists are traveling so fast for the TV and film industry in Africa to catch up. But those stories are there but they are not yet documented on film Or TV.I know Nigerians are trying hard but it’s just recently that their government decided to regulate the industry cause most of their producers have been abusing the noble art of film making.
