Yep believe it, i think its long over due, it's about time we let some of the best poets on the net go head to head, for the greatest honor of this Section.
Last years batlles failed to reach the finals, due to mishaps and vacations, though the first battles set the bar very high, and "yeah I'll say it!", me, Sq Root, Kast 1 and Sid Green spat the illest shit ever heard period!
But this is a new year, so guyz sign up and show me what you got!
I need atleast 8 contestants ( not any Tom dick and Harry though ) to get this shit on the road

Serious, Konko, Wanda, Jdogg, Ghostic, Kast-1 ! Damn you guyz are gonna give wet dreamz
Not to Look down on any of the other poets, but these are some of the best poets I've ever come across, and for them to step up to the plate and say i want in is the highest honor, shit i feel like Don King hosting a Royal Rumble!
Okay guyz i will not disappoint yall, I will be posting the first battle fixtures on thursday evening so yall can get the topics By Friday and work on them over the weekend.
But since the battles are starting, things might be slow, but as soon as word gets out shit will pick up pace.
Once again thank you guyz for excepting the challenge
And to the rest of yall, show me what you got and put yo pens where my third eye can see!

Alright, i'll name the first two round contestants and the topic for the first round.
People who still want to partake are more then welcome, and i'll inform you as to what's up.
Guyz do hurry up, cause this tournament can only host a minimum of 8 and max of 12 contestants, thus opponents will be chosen carefully.
First Round:
Serious Jonker VS. Konko_Below Topic: "Thoughts from a parrallel mind"
(Due Date: Monday 05 March midnight)
Second Round:
Kast 1 VS. Ghostic Topic to be announced next time
Rules:
Max of 16 Lines.
Try to broaden your tactics across the poetic diaspora i.e try something different so as to test your limits as a poet ( abstract, sonnet, rigorus etc.)
No mentioning of your opponent, the point is to simply outshine each other.
Scripts to be sent to me via P.M on mentioned due date.
All votings to be made on poetry battle thread.
Spread the word to everyone else on the site, so as to promote this shit and get better judgement.
If u loose, u cant commit suicide or u will be banned from the site!
Do this for the love and as a way of life, not as a hobby!
