Lyrical the best album hands down is Eric B and Rakims Follow the leader followed by the other 3 Eric b and Rakim albums. One Rakim song has more lyrical content and depth than any album including nas, talib kwele, Mos Def and Common and I love these artist music. I want anyone who don't recognize the R.s dominance to listen to any flow these man has ever spit. He raps Common, Nas, Mos Def, Ice Cube, Scarface, Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, Scarface and any other type of MCing into one thought in his flow. He's like a great Spike Lee joint, his 16 bars will hit your mind in about eight different angles. This man is socialy conscious, gangsta, poetically dominant, a hustla and abstract all together. He is the lyrical Jehovah

I am desperately looking forward to "The Seventh Seal" is the 3rd solo upcoming album from Rakim. It will be released on his own label Ra Records and it's also his first album after an absence of 8 years. While performing at Stubb's BBQ, Austin, TX on March 17, 2007, Rakim announced that "The Seventh Seal" would be released July 7, 2007.
