mastering adobe audition i'm afraid is a rather slow process....

yet it is exciting once you get the hang of it. adobe audition has more than one way of adding edit audio effects to your sound both in edit and multitrack view as fl studio has to automate your loops both in loop and song mode.

1st, remember that adobe audition is an audio edit tool, so the possibility of what you want to do always is there, but it might take more than one effects combined in a certain sequence to achieve it. for example, putting a filter (e.g graphic eq) before a studio reverb is very different from putting the reverb beofre the EQ. yeah, with a careful effect chain it is always possible to smoothly mix your sound.

2nd, make sure the beat is well balanced in fl studio with enough head room for your vocal tracks before you export the beat to adobe audition. that way, you wouldn't have to refer to fruity much, and half your mixing job is done already.

try yourself out with every possible effect using "dummy" recordings....if there is a particular effect you are trying to create but are unable to....send me a message and i'd try to show you the sequence to achieving the effect or somehting real close to it
