African hip hop, it started with a naked drum and scarred feet/
black people pouring out their minds to the sound of the beat//
undressed the secrets of the land on nature's improvised beat/
i was told black slaves used to kick cyphers in slaveships/
instead of the beatbox they threw freestyles to the sound of whips/
they took out the naked drum and replaced it with instruments of choice//
hip hop became the black man's tool, Gods outstreched ''hands'' him a powerful voice//
we then grow with the blame--as rhyming physic splits the breaths in the devil's domain:://
learn from the past, bask in the present and brace themselves for tomorrow's pain/
more commited than the followers of the Holy Quran:: or diciples of tha bible//
steadfast pride of tha black skin n nature~~we grew as strong black our minds ar never idle//
U can kill the body, but never the Soul" the unspoken mantra till flesh became earth//
Heads never bowed in defeat even wit eyes glarin at death~~health remains our only wealth//
what happened 2 da facts,da struggle,da pain/b4 da money n da fame/
someone loses to gain, and its a shame there's none to blame/
the way they chase it ''money'' ,''n he plays hard to get'' like is all there is to gain/
Africa, tha blessed ~~continent~~ green with ignorant minded blacks and fertiles soils/
african leaders ~~99% ape like humans~~ grap power for the sake of the spoils//
we refuse to keep still and watch them treat us like toys as our blood boils//
FATHER PLEASE,help diagnose dis POVERIZED DISEASEGLOBALIZE d PEACE so we ALL can walk the STREETS//
cuz all i feel is sorrow n pain n ashamed of ~~'forced talents''brainles n yet blameless~~~ mcs in da game/

it's a huge responsibility to be lyrically blessed
u best know how to use it or end up lyk one the gods have cursed
lyk black snitches suckin up to the "master's" dick
endin up on side streets ritually relieved of their hearts n pricks
but never enuff atonement for the consequence of their deeds
forever in rough travails as on their souls hell fire feeds
be your brother's keeper, always adore your sister
dis words be @ d back of your minds while u commit the murders
triggering the finga wit which u raped natasha
unleashin the slugs u sent thru her brother
yeah that's ur idea of having ya brother's back
but u'z just another product of the "master's" hack
blame it on ya mama not closing her clits unda the sheets
but dat's just an illusive manouver fa u to abuse sht...

hope I got it goin dawgz...Peace.
...and THE WORD was made FLESH...

but dat's just an illusive manouver fa u to abuse sht...
dropping all your wack shit on the radio calling it music
potraying stuff that lead to no good~yeah you so hood
but that wont matter when the sky turn blood red from its usual blue
the end is near what side are you on? where are you going
we was blessed with talent to spread the message but what are you doing?
commercializing a true culture descrating the sweat of founding fathers
by cussing and showing skin in your videos fancy whips big money now you a rapper
then ten years from now you'll sit and brood "how i wish" i did things different
the time is now Sid be bringing to y'all the 34th commandment
"thou shall not abuse the culture, the life of millions for ones own benefit"
punch the air~if you keep it real and youre repping it
nothing would bring back the slugs that already hit pac and biggies chest
but something can be done to test and bring forth the best
of our time to represent~to hold the torch high and lead the rest
it's a huge responsibility to be lyrically blessed

watch da space
if poetry comes not as naturally as leaves to a tree, it had better not come at all...it should suprise by a fine excess, and not by singularity; it should strike the reader as a wording of his own hoghest thoughts, and appear almost a remembrance.

lamarck prophesied it...
Darwin tried to prove it
While twigs evolve into geese
Shit evolve into emcees
Fake gangsters with fake motives
and fake leaders with wrpng politrics
They talk the talk
but can't walk the walk
through lost paths of illusion
lost minds walk the talk
talking tthe walk
but when I talk they walk
and label my thoughts politically incorrect..
so... from a lost conscience... I snatch the mic
Put it in my mind
For my thoughts to amplify the frequency...
you see...
what they all fail to see is that
It's all in the mind
and it reflects on the mic
Skills from a heart
laced with knowledge and insight
With feet on the ground but heart on the sky
We touch stars and moons
and move platoons...
And I prophesy my thoughts from the first line
Undergrounded base line
Dropping shit
philosophies
and making all my thoughts heard
And letting all my mind said
With lyrical poetics
defying gravity... and all the laws of kinetics
I freeze time
unleash rhymes
and preach sermonic lines...
never demonic
Poetically, lyrically
i free minds...
and free minds can tell... that you need a free mind to free minds....

shit it's been long... since i did this

anyways...

and free minds can tell...
that like past generations we are still living in hell
as zulu warriors we chanted choruses long ago on war fields
On top of beats made by sounds of spears banging on shields
Accompanied by symphonies of cries as weapons pieced through the flesh
A constant rhythm as the slash/ of a weapon keeps on adding a gash
to make a song would require a lot of lives
thats why God decided to give us cats nine lives
we evolved became amapansula* and used knives
to cut an edit heart beats
battled those we called blood on the street
and let it flow on concrete
but the evolution was still not complete
as our life expectancy decreased we started verbal battles
standing in vicious circles called cyphers and treated cats like cattle
slaughter them in hip hop rituals
sacrificing wack souls forcing them elevate and become spiritual
we call what we write verses but we're not mentioned in stories that are biblical
so we spread our own word through art forming new minds with our lyrical
believe in God but not religion and its edited content
rewrite the laws and hold the judicial courts in contempt
"we are free" and neglected still in torment
still slaves cause we live under their rules by force, whether u do or dont consent
we cant see the blind fold so i call on morphius to remove it
we still livin in a matrix Darwin tried to prove it

*south african gangstar, (used to be like Robin Hood only stole form the rich whites)
i contaminate every mike that i spit on
and make it too dangerous for germs to sit on
