Black star fire to your devotion
Shed the light, let our minds emulate
Cos ma people need to elevate and relocate away from this poverty state
Its hard being black youth in slums cos even ma mum is illiterate
People still uninformed cos the system can’t properly educate
In search for a brighter living they conflict with the police state
From prostitution to drug trafficking, officials will never relate
That’s why development in our townships, nigger is always late
But what confusing is that niggers were also born and breed without a full plate
That was during Apartheid, before BEE was a trophy or some piece of cake
Before greed and corruption from these parliamentary fakes
Before the triangle we broke, before government was rectangular shape
Now mother fuckers are raising the stakes
People can’t afford to live, nigger it’s a shame
There said free water for all, but by 4 am pipes they shut ‘em all
We don’t even have money for rates
Houses are like isolation cells, but still they place us in these holes
From work they displace us, cos in outskirts we find our homes
Fuck nigger this ain’t a prose, it’s the real situation I pose
The system I expose, cos on elections are minds are prone
That’s why I’m subscribing to this microphone; wake up ma people like Alexender Pope
Cos I got love for ma government that why I ignite like the only star during the night
Even though economically we doing a bit right
These social ills ain’t light, so come on help us curse the plight
Revolution will never be televised, so that’s why nigger this shit I’ll always write

I feel what u saying
Our people are always praying
For the right foundation to build a future so we can start brick laying
But the government never pulls through for *u-dakhi
We Always at the back of a bakie
Building empires for those who wear khakhi
Strengthen our melanin to give us protection from apartheid’s son
pinky, ring, middle, index, thumb come together to become one
Previously forced to lighten our skin with their silly crayons
Black coals oppressed till we became hard now shine like diamonds
Thanx to the eradication of Bantu education
I know that ‘keeping it real is all about mind elevation
Being proud of my skin,
and helping my next of kin
Cause only I understand the situation that he’s in
Given this equation, it’s up to us to solve this problem
Can’t really rely on our present system to Resolve them
Cause it’s not in their best interest
They gain more if they invest
Over the shore beyond mount Kilimanjaro’s hillcrest...

Im a first timer... never done this before!!
never rapped... but have been inspired by rap many times.. like i have just now.. reading your work.
going to give it a try...
so, start with the last line??
uumm... maybe i should get your help on how to write a rap first... or maybe ill just give it a shot :)

So, Quit stallin, on my count 1,2,3 now lets go
my first time, im a rap virgin, but ima let it flow
Who knows, i might inspire someone out there to grow
the right path to a brother this flow just might show
u better believe, thats exactly what happened to me
the lines of a killer emcee, got me questioning my lifes purpose, my journey
His rhymes are what enlightened and set me free
To soar and float and flutter, a gentle bird I’d be
Soar over war torn mountains, fly over a bloodstained sea
The first lesson I learnt was it would never be an easy journey
Might float like a butterfly, but damn, ive been stung by some bees,
Backstabbing, two timing.. hypocracy is their honey.
Its not an easy path, all you can do is learn,
With its winding twists, and bending curves
Through which we stumble, crawl and swerve…
But still we journey one and all, To start the quest and heed the call.
Sometimes the destination seems beyond our reach,
To touch the freedom, the faith we got to keep…
If we want freedom from war, death and pain. freedom to think again.
Let our lights shine, and inspire others to do the same.
Use this rap game. Its about sharing, who cares about the fame.
Concsious rap. You got to Be the change. Let them know
1,2,3… lets go, whos down with the earthly flow?
“Just as a fire is covered by smoke and a mirror is obscured by dust, just as the embryo rests deep within the womb, wisdom is hidden by selfish desire.”

That some good script right there main, the flow and the imagery, main you can paint the picture. That was some concsious rap with mad skill. I raise my fist to that. You may say you posted this in the wrong area, nah, main it's surely isn't. Welcome to AHH

I'm continuing where it's ended.

1,2,3… lets go, whos down with the earthly flow?
It’s me the Beesting cos I’m down with that lyrical growth
Fuck the gloat, ma rhyme can do that for me, and I don’t give a fuck if it takes slow
Cos that’s how I roll with this conscious clique, just so you know
Call me the light to these earthly shadows cos I expose deceit with ma prose
Tell the truth like Christ and stand for it till I’m crucified
Take a hundred whips from wimps writing scripts till I’m classified
But I don’t give a fuck cos in my rhyme there’s still some sense of pride
Even though when I stride I feel like life is matter of land slides
Everybody taking sides, and if you don’t you won’t get recognized
Till you presume wackness in your rhymes cos niggers ain’t showing love
So fuck your fake love if you upping for ma votes in your battles, and just ignore this doc
Hear the tick tock, that’s the clock, time never waits for one to develop
So while you fake around I’ll be on that real shit elevating my state of mind
With ma true underdawgs cos real niggers can spot each other like two birds of the same kind

...spot each other like two birds of the same kind
with different thought processes but the same mind
similar thoughts unwind
to re-define
how we read each-line
when the brain unlocks
delivering skills that writers can't block
chikens and cocks, different letters we all flock
on the same page to share the path we all walk
whether on the same tip
or flow on a separate drift
all our pens lift
to give rhythm to a silent gift
to show off tightness, redicule the flab
once quick to grab
now separate true rap from the "gift of gab"
driven by the will for skill
fucking with different minds untill
we get ill
but we still
feel like there's a void to fill
our journey never ends
secreting endles flows with our pens
dont know if we'll ever stop cause it all depends...
i contaminate every mike that i spit on
and make it too dangerous for germs to sit on

dont know if we'll ever stop cause it all depends...
on whether or not the world continues to pretend
that its all good, when it aint... there's still the pain
of homeless niggaz, running the streets, stuck in the game
tryna make it outta da hood, we hussle for food
while dem politician pricks dey be looting our goods
stacking fat change in swiss banks while niggaz starve
fuck saving my neck, i'ma let my voice ring out loud
its our turn now... dis isht is now or never
AFRICA UNITE! let us storm the world together
take back our rightful place, we first class!
children of kush, even the holy book echoes that
so sick n tired of hearin all those white men lies
using the media as a weapon to enslave black minds
we chase the dream not the competition, thats what i'm preachin
better recognise da truth from the mouth dats speakin
let us neutralize dem bad eggs from among us
and support the right men with da right focus
it can be done, and it will be done.... y'all jus chill
Africa's on the rise, fasten ur belt n sit still!

FEELIN THIS THREAD BEE, SUPER!!!!!!!!
after the storm, comes a new dawn!

one Beesting.

The post twenty-ten city centre in 2006.
Newtown, The new Newtown
might as well rename it to small street.

coming to time, wild guess, who's a hungry thief?
briefly, to steal seconds for starters
game arcade minutes timespannin to dcades, for dessert.
more or less on time to inject into the vessels
of spineless mmen with timeless pens
on weed i get high like a state-pen fence
watch when we start to replace the content
of the cold tap, escape tunnel? booby trap...
school these cats, move cruise with raps
cease fire, hand-hadle cows emcee cattle.
word mix trick worlds and miss
the point if you blind.
time up!

Beesting one.

practice perfection, escape global domination
vocal orientation, like Mandela bridge local
onto the facts, who lied?
whose is the fake ideology
ideas of numerology suck!
not a copycat survived when tongue-slayed like Saddam Hussein.
words from the heart's apex
at the tip, of the ice-berg
a cloud about the nineth one.
black minds amalgamated
even ABSA couldn't be more together.

word to the gods.
peace.
