[Catastrophe]

yeah.......i wonder how many people skimmed thru this battle too becuz between to two of us, we gave y'all over 100 lines to read. these breakdowns are ridiculous........but to each his own becuz everyone views things differently. there is no right or wrong way to vote.....but certain categories are nondebateable as el-p was state'n.......here's my own non-biased breakdown (me be'n the absolute least biased as possible)



Metaphors ~ Linkris....simply stated, linkris killed this category. i usually speak more direct instead of use'n meta's....so link get's this wit ease.

Punches ~ Catastrophe....i feel that i threw more quality punches at a more consistant rate. linkris had sum good ones....but what messed it up for him was the fact that he had sum really weak ones, ie:

Personalz ~ Catastrophe......i felt my personals were original and effective. pussy/cat lines against me have been played out since '04. and everyone on sound click knew a line about "that's a catastrophe" was cum'n......it always does.

Multi's ~ Catastrophe....hands down....i used multies begin'n to end, good multies that didn't compromise my flow. linkris only used multies in portions....very small portions at that. most were only about 2 syllables so it's really no comparison. so i laugh at anyone who gave him this category.....seriously.

WordPlay ~ at first i gave this to link.....but after re-read'n both verses....i gotta call it a tie.....

Flow ~ Catastrophe......my verse flowed pretty much from begin'n to end. when i started talk'n about myspace, i kinda fell off, but i regained my tempo a few lines later. look at linkris's verse and his flow fluctuates greatly throughout. sum parts has good flow, but sum parts has overly stretched lines.

Creativity ~ Catastrophe......reason be'n is that i felt linkris was overly focus on violence.....i'll do this, that, and the third to you whereas as my punches contained varies elements....hence i was much more creative wit my approach. link had sum creative shit.....but as el-p stated, sum concepts were played and he didn't add a fresh touch to 'em

I felt linkris came wit hella aggression, much more than myself. but in do'n so......he failed to connect wit enuff hard hit'n punches to win. actually, he came weak in parts wit simplistic punches wit no relevance, such as the keith sweat shit and the errected dicks. all in all......i thought his verse was good, and i was impressed becuz i didn't kno' what to expect becuz i didn't do my research on him beforehand....i wanted this to be a completely blind battle to see where my skills stood. if i can diss the shit out of a random person......then i feel i'm where i need to be.


furthermore.........the votes were ridiculous........what i mean is this....there's no way link got me in multies.......NO WAY!!! obviously, AHH peeps have a misunderstand'n of what a multi is......or it was blatent dick-ride'n. secondly.......there's no way that linkris killed me in flow......NO WAY!!! i can call anyone of u on the phone and spit my verse effortlessly. its one thing to say link had slightly better flow....but when peeps say he took that category hands down, that's suspicious. i'm a rapper, not a textcee, i kno' how to flow. lastly......it's funny how people give him disses, then give me personals, then give one of us punches.......i mean damn.......a diss is either a punchline or a personal. when those three are mixed up.......there's a problem. i'm saddened by the lack of quality votes both on sc and on ahh......this battle was too hot to get dragged down by bogus votes. i'm not say'n my vote is the only way one can look at it........but i explained my decisions VERY well and no one can argue that.......but i can argue 95% of the votes that came in. and i'm not gonna talk about how peeps added categories that were not listed on the first page of this thread.


good battle link........i got mad respect for you and ya style. also, i got respect for u ahh kats as well for not cum'n on sc shit talk'n and all that utha dumbshit that usually tags along wit intersite battles.
