I am very saddened to announce the passing of yet another Zimbabwean MC, by the name of DJ Taps. I knew this MC personally and we freestyled regularly at the Book Cafe Open Myke Session. I would love to personally extend this thread to everyone who expresses solidatity with African hip hop to mourn a soldier who has just left us. Whenever one os ours is taken away, it is a death of hip hop everywhere.
DJ Taps, I wish I had said a bit more that last time I saw you. You came to me andwe shared a blunt and talked about life and hip hop and you also wanted to be a part of it like everyone else.
With a heavy and burdened heart, rest in eternal peace soldier.

It's sad that we've lost a potential emcee...Let's preserve the artform for DJ TAPS,KINGPIN and all brothers we've lost.
