Thina ngapha we're fighting against a disease called 'Urban Grooves'.The bad part of it all is that the epidemic is being fanned by government. They have taken it's name and used it to brand any genre that's young and contemporary, where u find that kwaito is urban G,house is UG,DANCEHALL is UG.All to a point where l think that name represents an ideology than a genre. These artists promote a trivial,petty,simplistic,'high-and-lofty-class'type of mentality where cats rap about how they take bottled mineral water when they visit their grannies in the rurals.

You guys have heard about the media laws that say there shuld be 75% local content on the air with the balance being reserved 4 all else, with strong preference 4 the region(s.a. enjoys that spot). That was o.k. to an extent as it was going to open doors 4 us that's been trying to break into the market but that space has been hijacked b the gvt's P.R. Ministry 2 push propaganda.
thats as concious as radio gets.
WE'RE DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT THO.WATCHTHE ZIM HIPHOP PAGE 2 GET THE NEWS OF THE UNDERGROUND STRUGGLE 4 CREATIVE FREEDOM.
