The other night, i was watching that crazy " Corne and Twakkie" thing and Godessa was performing at the end.

They were dope - no doubt about it: flow, sense, depth en alles... Their accents got me real quizzical though.
They had the whole "floetry" pitch and accent going while on stage but once they stepped off their accents were so completely different, you'd think they were a whole different set of people...

They're not the first i've heard of changing their tone on the mic... why do people do that? Do you do that? Arb topic, but man i just had to ask coz this shit's got me cracking up..

cheerz

about the accent thing: i think sum people's accents change on the mic cos they are speaking rythmically,in other wordz they gotta "tune & adapt" their voices to the beat, rythm and tempo of a song, the concept of a song also has a major effekt on one's voice-accent.
for instance: say you rapping a song like "FEEL_ME_FLOW"-(naughty by nature-) you will automatikally adapt a smooth, flowable and easy accent,so that you can bring out sylables for maximum effect reagarding the flow!
BUT...
picture yourself sounding the same when you rapping "NO-MERCY"-(immortal technique)- here one's voice wud sound more heavy, thicker and filled with anger,ya know...

but bac on the accent tip, people's accents tendz to change automatikally when it cums to the mic,or when rhyming cos of various reasons, even my accent changes a bit when i do audios...

cool thred.
