hey i'm sorry.nice contributions and all but, y'all think like the man. i mean,cats who host these shows and stuff got their own agendas or bias towards what acoustic representations of OUR culture should be/are.the system has to be pimped.its possible,but it takes initiative, unity and determination.i'm saying we could come up with our own awards show.if we cant go to rome,we bring the tower of pizza to the ghetto thuns. imagine our own awards show covering what we want,hip hop, music from diaspora,etc...aint no way them old cats goin to let us take over their act n'a mean?they too stuck in their ways holmes.you get a corporate sponsor,like Econet and host like an Econet Real Music Awards (ERMA) or something awards.we run that thing man.no urban whatever( cant even say the phrase).i'm tired of kissin up duke.it's time they felt our presence! ey carl, no offence, but NAMA's been sittin on my album for TWO YEARS!i aint one to toot my own horn but, muzukuru wa gogo was classic.so them old dudes aint tellin me jack!only we (the present generation) can give an accurate potrayal of the times don.oh and, these aint just words,we coming for everything you owe us.it's your boy and i'm out.
