Whaddup

I'm AB-ROCK, a nigerian MC (Ogun State) by the way of london, currently residing in Baltimore, MD in the US.

I've been spitting for about 8yrs released an album, a couple of side projects, done countless mixed tapes, opened up for or shared stages with a ton of national acts in the US (Roots, Black Sheep, Zion i, Akrobatik, Talib Kweli, M.O.P, e.t.c), basically been on the grind.

When I left nigeria back in 89/90 there wasn't a hip hop scene in the country, so I really started honing my craft in london and perfecting it in the States. I didn't pay much attention to the african hip hop scene and whenever i met other nigerian mc's in the states their skill level wasn't as good.

So when my younger sis put me onto the trybesmen about 1yr and half ago, I was blown away. These cats were tight!!! i started checking for other acts from nigeria and have been more and more impressed. Terry the rapman, Wierd Mc, Eldee, Ruggedman are representing lovely and I try to put my American peeps onto Nigerian hip hop any chance i get.

Basically i've been lurking on this board for a while so i finally decided to register and say whaddup. I'm very interested in building with other nigerian Mcs, Producers, Labels for collabos. Build with my peoples back home as they say. So holla at me

I have a small label to release my music called rockmics entertainment.

ok i believe in being real.
rap is basically about lyricx and style
tight lyrics no style is the defination of wack n vice versa
most in this forum here gat lyrics but no style
u dont write like you spit...........
tell me if you disagree
illest rapper existing,ryme itch persisting,flows more than consistence,wack artists restrictive,rap style addictive,wacks don't spit whilst i talk,can't stand me take a walk.......
