well, with mine it should be easy, I just left enough space before the start of it so the sound file can be placed on the first beat of the first bar and the rapping starts on the next bar.....

Interesting stuff going here - I am just wondering because the poem does not sound like Maya Angelou any way but did it ever occur to any one that the 'link' with KKK and the rest may be metaphorical? Poems are not intended to be literal rather they are usually allegorical. Remember those who believe that Marilyn Manson, Iron Maiden or Metallica are devil worshippers. There were those that thought that Ozzy Osborne is the devil himself because of his lyrics from the Black Sabbath days, can you imagine their disappointment if they see him now on MTV? What I am saying is that the ‘poem’ should not be read literally.

i just had a lil chat with Richie and we agree that it's a shame that we started this project and in a typical african way, left it to die, without anybody caring!! We gotta wake up from this slackness!!! Whatever we did so far if nobody is happy with it, then let's redo it, or rethink the format but let's not let this ting die like we are, so???

Six,
Lets not get into the 'same routin' shit rhetoric man. The main problem with the theme is mixing and finishing. Okay, some people were not happy with the 'quality' of the delivery and so on but for me the main problem is the logistics, given the circumstances we all have to work with.
Things are on the pipeline but a brother has to work with constraints. What I can tell you is that this website will be swimming in theme songs and I - IL Maestro - the native son of igboland will give you my word as a brother that it will happen. So no Afro pessimism yet. This is the time to show people that just because our leaders in African are hopeless that does not mean we have to be. The theme song will happen even if I have to call on Nkulunkulu and other gods of Africa to make it happen.

mann the problem with this ish is the laziness of the people---all the project asked from each particpantt was a maximum of 8 lines----the best thing to do was have a strict rule with deadline for anyone who wish to participate to follow---eightlines is something anybody can drop in les then 2 minutes-----anyone who requires more than that is definitely not an emcee and shouldn't bother---have a rule or something similar to that the next time you put up such a project--otherwise you are gonna have more wack-heads than you need that will make even the good cats sound wack--period
