Then all participating emcees must mail us and they will receive a space to upload their contribution. They should probably send an accapella MP3 of high quality... so that we can put everything together.
Also it would be good if you can listen to each others track... maybe we can put up the individual contributions as well.
any suggestions on how to put the chorus together?

I think the loudness of the vocals isnt really a problem cos you can compress, change volumes etc - I can do that here or if someone's a studio professional with spare time, they could do it, as long as we have the acapelas. Of course the sound color will be a bit different between those emcees... maybe we should put up a few guidelines for recording so that entries wont be distorted etc.
Also, how many lines must everyone have? If it's gonna be 20 emcees then 8 lines is a lot already!

1. we should all agree on a deadline for emcees to enlist for the anthem. Once that date hits, we are clear on how many emcees are participating and can then proceed to formulate the anthem (bars, hooks etc..)
2. we all agree on the mode of digital recording (i.e which program we will be using to lay the vocals). Im not sure what the majority of yall use to record at home, but i would suggest we use either Acid for recording and
Sounde Forge for editing..only because the learning curve is not that high. Plus noooooon posted a thread called 'All U Need to Record at home..' or something and you can download these for free i believe. Check it out..all u need from there is a good soundcard and good mic.
3. once all the above has been resovled we can move to the details. i am willing to also help out in the engineering side of things is you need an xtra hand J4.
i think this effort will take alot of organizing being that emcees will all be flowing on the same track..so maybe its worth it to take baby steps for now until we see the bigger picture?
