Somebody pls tell me,where the fu*k were all these newly discovered Nigerian rappers back-in-them-days?It was a very few of them e.g blackky, and the rest singing, and the public really didn't give a fu*k...but as soon as 'The Remedies' did they thing( E mi o shakomo),Plantation Boiz followed and that was it...Damm the whole HIPHOP scene is now flooded,HIPHOP has gone COMMERCIAL...Many are in it all in a bid to get some money.

Nigerian HIPHOP is the bomb, but we gat so many fake cats...

ONE!
Well maybe they've all been chilling in the basement while waiting for a hiphop messiah to revolutionalize the game.....as u've rightly spoken, the whole game is crowded and there is absolutely nothin one can do about that......all we gotta do is just to keep our game tight individually while trying to be the best in this hiphop shit........therefore this obviously means there will be an intense competition in the industry which will result to quality and dope products in the 9ja entertainment industry.......so I think it's all good!!

word man.

u've said it all bro.

For those interested, Ikechukwu just did a nice interview:
Question: Killz, your first single 'My Name Is' was fresh in that it was different for Naija music. You performed it at the channel O awards and you were even nominated for an award. Did you anticipate the type of response you received from not only the single but the album as a whole?
Answer: No I didn't expect that kind of response to be honest. I knew I had something and it was something I had cultivated for a bit so it just needed to be heard. There was so much backlog at the time that all that shit needed to just go. A lot of the songs on the first album Ikechukwu - Son of the Soil were songs that I had recorded years back and some of them like "my name is" and "legal representah" were turned down or rejected as worthy material in the States, but that didn't stop me. I knew that I had something; which is why when I got back to Nigeria, my grind was on a whole new high and the results are naked to the eye. Talk about at an accelerated rate and It is safe to say that I expedited my own route.

Wow...its been a while I've been in this joint. What's really, really good? So, I started a tee shirt company and I'm scouting for rap artists to feature on my website. The name of the company is Allen & Fifth (A5) and the idea is to promote our hiphop while promoting our pop culture with our tees. So if you are interested in being featured and represented by Allen & Fifth send me a message...or email me @ info@allenandfifth.com

Also hit me up on facebook group - Residents Of Allen & Fifth!

ps: you have to be blazing though ;)

I need a reply to this. Which album contains the song 'dat igbo boy' by illbliss. That track is hot! Naija hip hop is growing and the best talent ironically is still underground. I know some cats in my hood who can be compared lyrically to naijas best but they do not intend going professional. They are cats like me who do it for the love and are exceptionally creative. Even up in ahh, some cats impress me eg............. Nahhh. I wont call their names. My name is top of the list though. lol. But shun the good, there are also some wack cats who do trash and call it hiphop. Their lips should be amputated so that theyll never spit ever again...!
