hiphop no doubt is a black thing...just dat due 2 d slave trade hiphop couldn;t stay in african. rap stars like jay-z,dr.dre,nas,icecube...all african-americans r representin d ppl of africa even if they claim 2 be americans they know their root.n dis is 1 aspect dat is contributin 2 american bein a world power..their entetainment industry is full of blacks..4rm d musik industry 2 d comedy aspect n also sports...celebrities like m.j, marion jones,denzel washinton.o'neal,50cent,whoopigoldberg,oprahwinfrey,d-12,g-unit,destiny's child , missy,lil kim,evev,foxy brown...i could keep goin on..n on n i wounldn't.stop..but they r all representin african since they r blacks even d carribean countries claim 2 be african..stars like kevinlyttle,yclef,bob marley,seanpaul,elephant man r all africans..just wonder what will happen if africans were 2 come 2gether we would be d world power in entertainment n is also gonna genarate some cashh..am pround 2 be an african.....naija 4 life..africa 4 ever..long live motherland

It may be a Black thing, being a blessing to ALL of us to use to uplift Africa, but we also need to be in control of our expressions as well as the things Africa has to offer. Why should other nationalities benefit off of Africa and her children when this is OUR natural right!

Dont matter what tribe, country or region you from. Our distinct cultures cn be uplifted through Hip Hop!
