Flesh is rotten, alive is the soul

Agonizing cries, awakening dead nerves

Struggle of maggots that feed on life

Souls await that reincarnating spirit

To defy decay; negative entropy,

Survival cannibalism eats through humanity

Below the food-chain is the downtrodden

Masses dwell in sin to see another day's thickness

Burns and deep cuts in i.c.u

The clock ticks against the respirator



Flesh is rotten, alive is the soul

Healers too succumb to the beast's brutality

Sons and daughters of man reign in ash and dust

Conscience eroded cerebral cortices

Unconscious conscious, living dead

Senile skulls, toothless gums

Bones eating up shrinking skin

Eyes dimming with incurable poetic cancer



Flesh is rotten, alive was the soul

Before there was time, space did not exist

But existence existed,

You have not seen yet...
