I sat down and started to think
That was my first mistake
Because all the turmoil from my life
And of course everyone else's
Jus comes crashng in
I want to cry
Cry because I can't deal with my own problems
I'm to busy dealing with everyone else's
I call my sister
I want to tell her how I'm feeling
But instead I get an earful
Devestation
That's how my life feels most times
Who's there for me?
Who can I talk to when I start to feel that pain in my chest that just won't go away?
When I can't figure out a solution to my problems
Why must everyone come to me??

Damn!...now this is a stressed piece!...I feel the pain in it, the emotions n' all that...n' that's the beauty of poetry. It feels like you wrote this in a spar of a moment...at the correct timing, that's why it came out jus' fine!

:-) Wow. and that is why you are a poet. Poets bear the burdens of others. And they can talk to a paper and after that feel better. Consoled by our own words? hmm...?

that was very sad, and i hear u, especially because it reminded me of a shawty who went through something similar. this brought back all those feelings she confided in me a time ago, so i can somewhat understand and relate vicariously. what really just brought it all together was the simple question "who's there for me?" it makes me want to say keep trying and never give up, no matter what.

I can definately relate to the pain in this piece. Sometimes I think writing is therapeutic. Nice one. Blessings.

Quite an emotional piece...don't know whether to say "nice one" or "things will come out right at the end". Either way, nca piece!
