The prophesy foretold before the 30 pieces of silver snatched away Divine loyalty
& let the words of the scriptures come to pass – a fulfillment of prophesy!
But No! Judas never died; for he still lives amongst us…
In the darkest corners of our conscious like a roach;
Whispering like a mid-night witch –
“the problem of natural evil”
Crazy words that could corrupt a whole decent chapter of history
And the chronicles of events!
This ugly beast of betrayal that only sees material promises…
Wooed by sheers necessities, wisdom is not smoked, it’s engraved in reason.
I guess its just the folly of man
********************************
Images, colours, sounds, time fill me in to the world of reality –
on the fast lane
Where both the sane & insane compete for the limited resources
After the blur had cleared,
For now I could see clearly –
In the ancient robes worn by the Pharisees he walked in like an angel –
Shining with radiance
But breath blew with no air of utmost honesty & innocence,
He had broken the codes of our mutual trust –
In his eyes I saw burning lust,
Burning his heart, consuming his soul.
He yearned for the forbidden fruit still lying in soils untilled..
He smelled of lurking insanity ready to pounce on its money-weakened prey
He betrayed intentions to anxiety of mixed emotions -!
He had betrayed me to the foxes;
In my heart I still seek for revenge, I still thirst for this forever debt!
To get a glimpse of reality and have the last laugh!
Even before I could contemplate forgiveness
2 spirits recklessly destroying the soul of a man immersed in greed
“do you betray me with a kiss?”
It all came crushing like numerous avalanches
His heart bled profusely of immortal sin
Regret – suicidal thoughts – ropes – the gallows!
Kaput! Silence..cries, confusion, anger or is it unquenchable rage?
Disappointments, memories
All spelling out betrayal!
I still strain hard to block these thoughts -
That are mercilessly tearing up my brain tissues
Though I’ll go to my grave with these nightmares,
I‘ll still reincarnate and kill these demons
In the afterlife! The crazy unpredictable afterworld!
I still feel eyes dodging and darting,
Perhaps my imagination is aimlessly chasing shadows,
Perhaps madness is lurking!
Because when I dine, I feel like my last night
I keep my keen on footsteps, perhaps they’re comin for me,
Always waitin for that embrace….
Coz I once Felt that embrace of a coward,
That kiss, hhmm, that Judas Kiss!

I've read this before...yeah! u' posted this here earlier?!...
Like Seraph said, I like the fact that this is heavily insipred by the Bible, it makes me a lot of sense that I'm familiar with most of Bible tales...this of Judas one of it (a famous one indeed), but you make it sound all raw...I like how you went into the depths of this...
Keep inking my friend.

Interestin piece, reminds me of the movie 'Passion of the Christ', also reminds me of the fact that we all can be vulnerable to Judahs' coz of the evil that lurks in our midsts, homies dat will stab your back for selfish ambitions and how they regret after stabbing your back. Dope typology, shalom.
