At 3000 feet, you see how small you truly are.
From up close. You'd be surprised at how conceited people are.
Distance is a channel of self realization few people have realized.
It takes light before sound to reach a given distance.
In real life Cell phones Reach distances our bodies cant.
We are not as fast as light.
We have voices but are inaudible to some distances
Still, it takes light before sound to reach a given distance

You see me from a thousand perspectives.
I remind you of a million things.
But still you may never have met me before
I don't know if it is light in your mind or sound that gives to this.
it gives truth of knowing in sound or seeing in light.
Still i know it takes light before sound to reach a given distance.

Ask you your self. How far, or how close.
And if far, How fast or how slow can i get there.
both light and sound may have reached there before me
but i will use them as guidance. for distance is useless without
I don't know how long it takes to see the truth or hear it.
but i know now, the truth has to be seen or heard.
light to see, sound to hear. but distance will determine what i see or hear. or simply what is true.
In darkness sound will guide.
in silence light will guide.
without either it is just distance.
reach out your arms.
In prayer this is a symbol of worship.
Guide me and Give me light
Amen.

interesting twist in the tale... this just sparked an idea... look at distance not only as a physical thing like metres, or miles... but as separation like through time and emotion. proximity and connection...

good piece
