Hello friends, I know its been a while since I put up something here...so I've tried to put this piece together from the inspiration I got...guess where...from a beat by beat master apopyalips - sun goes down on his myspace page!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When the sun goes down...
...I lose my sight...to these bright city lights
And as my thoughts engage their rage on a page...
the pen in my hand begins to bleed
so I write...and I write from a blind mind
I write to discover the wonders of the mind
For as these thoughts flows with a blow...like the wind,
...does over hidden and forgotten graveyards...
Secrets of uncertain pasts are slowly revealed...and
Fears from the future come back in time to haunt my dreams...
with visions of a life not yet lived and deaths met amid screams...
of souls departing bodies before their time...its done!
...to fulfill the will of a man written on skulls of fallen warriors...
those lost in front-line battles fought in vain.

When the sun goes down...
...And the bird of song sings its last bit of the day...
in its praise to the gods of the light
I hear voices of lost generations calling from the death of the night
in tongues of dead tribes, those killed in slave ships and fields
their whispers of despair and fear won't let me sleep
So I write...and I write from a sleepy mind
I write to search the footprints of my ancient relatives
...those fading into civilization and scientific ways of mankind
As they go against the will of nature as described by creation
so in deep meditation, I make close conducts with my ancestors
as i seek blessings and wisdom
to battle these crazy demons of poverty...
get rid of the HIV virus, injustices, fear of insecurity
and fight for my rights of equality

When the sun goes down...
...The hunger for success haunts my dreams like nightmares
I stay awake with the owls, listening as the night pass-by
and as I wonder how I'll make it through another chilly night...
into the evils of darkness, another child losses her innocence
and her fragile rights of existence, goes silence!
so I write, because these words I speak are licensed,
and loud enough to seek justice even beyond the essence...
for my presence... here?! is made to shame the pretense...
of these leaders and politicians, playing poli"tricks"
in the name of governance, rooted in corruption schemes
and as unemployment reigns supreme
the youth connect...to stay "social" and "networked"
desperately outsourcing jobs...unawares they end up trapped...
in a world wide web, morals get stripped naked and cultures abused

When the sun goes down...
damn!...its so hard to tell what awaits you at dawn!

the starting...a serious tone with a relatively melancholic mood...the imagery is awesome

goes on to deliver the best...nostalgic moments

here we slowly ride the rhythm...steadily

just telling it as it is in this final powerful and haunting delivery...
