The girl who sang the hook on modenine's award winning cry is bracing up for the release of her debut titled '' FALLING ROSES".I often wondered why the delay in bringing out her album. I had seen her Oluchi video (which to me remains among the best of Clarence Peter's directorial skills).The song which campaigns against the societal illl of wife battery was nice no doubt. Now she's out with yet a new track called Palaver and this one's wowing the aiwaves. another concious song but on the contrary instead of moving you to tears, it practically moves you off your feet. On her myspace page she posted this monologue of thoughts and it got me wonderering:
"NNENA- Eigth years is not beans.The delay to my album release date is borne out of a challenge that is soon to be subdued.It's a a slight hitch that gets me twitching but it's not an itch I can't scratch.Everyone I know wants to Know when? but I can only say this to all my loving fans: you've never laughed at my dreams and like me you've seen the future and it's fun.The album title is FALLING ROSES.It will be out this year with more videos and lots of buzz Insha Jehovah. The question is: Will you love it? Vaya, mis companeros I just heard a voice from heaven saying YOU WILL'

Nnenna is a girl wit enough atitude & karisma, i know her way back in coal city, her concept in dat oluchi simply blows my mind. She sings & plays da guitar, I just cant wait 4 da album to drop

I just remember the chants that she was singing on that song and she made me look for an album but i was not able to find one!,Cant wait for the album.
