Heaven is a place that i know, not so far away
sunshiny-bright with an emerald green glow
sometimes God's givin' me rain, diamond showers
if my soul's feelin' low, I'm re-invigorated, I"m empowered
how many times I've been there, ohh, I don't know

Heaven is a place where i go, come with me today
smell the ocean, feel foamy emotions as they flow
listen to the Stonechats banter, they hasten the morn
while the Tern plays dive-and-catch not far from shore
how often I've been there .. you'll never know

Heaven Is, it's said, from where all of life musingly sprang
to dance forward through eternity as angels sang
I've been there, ear to the Conch .. melodical horn
it's as if Heaven Is .. everything .. why I was born
how often I've heard this .. Only time knows

Heaven Is a place where all my senses whisper yet roar
an electron, as waves play catch-me-if-they-can on the shore
where I feel infinitesimally small but weighted like the core
of every atom, neutronic in stature, I"m revolving ever more
how often I have felt this .. matters not, i refuse to explore

Heaven Is shaking violently today, making me shiver
the winds break howlingly .. holding hard to the words they deliver
sayin' for eternity a new day's been dawning, and your focus was fear
for ages heavens been yawning for your hearts to draw near
how long have i known this .. on this i am not clear

Heaven is a venue, a production profound in it's grace
just let go, reach out, grab a handful .. rub it all over your face
dark corners, hiding places, recesses of heart and mind
close your eyes real tight, see that light, let it glow .. it's alive
Heaven Is .. Heaven Is .. Heaven Is ... and never dies

I'm not a religious person, but this poem is wonderful. you made heaven tangible, you made it viewable, you made it real. this poem is so peaceful and calm. I'll def be back to read it over and over again. it's soothing to the heart
