Scattered thoughts echo my mind with your cologne,
Such pleasant memories I have,
But nostalgia hurts like peeling the mesh off a wound…….
You burn my memories with your existence,
You impregnated my hopes and aborted them before conception,
Now i lie asunder like kingdoms torn by war,
An abstract example of what happens when love collides with lust,
I thought we would blend intimately like night and day,
But you left me in seclusion immured to my loneliness,
What nonsense to love and not be loved back,
You drained my hopes like a sponge,
How could you just move on, like I was not a great loss?
Am I just another emblem on your tapestry of spoils?
They are playing that song again!
Yes the same one we play each anniversary,
Only that tonight I dine with my shadow and your unevanescent memories,
My heart grieves with loneliness like a lone star at the mercy of a stormy sky.
Oh lonely soul of mine, why do quiver for what you cant keep?
Why do you torment me with yesterday’s smile?
When today frowns!

BLOOD,SWEET AND TEARS;DEPICT THE POETRY THAT INDUCES YOUR FEARS;
SO TO APPEASE THE DEAD;LET THE POSSESSED DANCE.
SO TO APPEASE THE DEAD;LET THE POSSESSED DANCE.

Emotions fly high in this piece...its sad how love can turn so cruel sometimes.

ooow my! This poem is soooooo emotional! Every word bends under the emotions.
what a metaphore! everybody feels how that peeling off feels. U had me think on it for a while, that's exactly how nostalgia feels like!
love this
I so know the feeling. You are suffering like someone took your heart out of your chest while it was still beating, and the other one moves on like nothing happened. painful.
*sigh*
