You are the companion of my life,
The wife of my bosom,
Therefore,I will cherish you as a blessing
Sent me from heaven.
As the mistress of my heart
I will treat you with utmost respect
That my servants may obey you
I will oppose not your inclination without
Cause as the partner of my cares and also
The companion of my pleasures.
I will reprove your faults with gentleness
And exact not your obedience with rigour
My secrets will I trust in your breast
For you councels are sincere and I
Shall not be deceived.
When pain and sickness assault you
I will let my tenderness soothe your
Affliction , because a look from me of
Pity and love shall alleviate your grief or
Mitigate your pain and be of more
Avail than ten physicians.
