Even if you don't think it's kool that he called you a devil or watever, no word for a white person that a black person can conjure carries the sam amount of historical weight that the word 'ni**a' does- so its not the same as you calling him that. So don't do it. It ofcourse needless to say that incomparison to africans and those of them in the diaspora, white people have had little to non-existant hardships. The word 'ni**a' is was and still is a tool of white peoples oppression of blacks; as black people have neva been in that same tyrannical position of power over whites, any slur that they may erect cannot be of the same value of the 'n' word. And besides is it not hypocritical to tell someone to respect their fellow man and then proceed to call them the N word?
