What’s up people, this is the infamous native tongue representing for all Afro-beat and true hip-hop music. I also wanted to give my opinion on the new Red Hot + Riot Joint. Has anyone got a chance to hear it? Well, it dropped on Oct. 15th but I was fortunate enough to peep it early at http://lw11fd.law11....ail.msn.com/cgi ... vscan=scan Holla back and let’s discuss.

my personal view now that I downloaded the whole album, is that its an interesting project and it has some real good tracks, but i really dont see why there is not a single African emcee on there! Surely people like Dead Prez have been to (South) Africa so they do know that there are local hiphop scenes.
So does this translate as a very American view on the African aids issue??
There are some African artists included, all known in the west - Cheikh Lo, Les Nubians... Maybe there should be an alternative compilation with ONLY african emcees??
