whats up man! i agree and disagree with you on some of those lists! okay the commercial list looks about right....on the underground list only Method X holds it down...the only cat that can hold a battle down on that list is Kstar (believe me i hang with these guys)...producers A-Plus yes,E-Talik ,I.N.F and Nox are alright...honestly Ray Doe makes emmulated beats! don't know any of those underground ones...though i have heard of skylark! young bangers Phamone is tight! don't know the rest - studios cant say much but romaside holds it down on the recording side! crews mainstream - Familia yeah! but i don't like the picture that people have of hip hop in zed, i blame myself and other dudes not coming out more!!! Pitch Black is not mainstream, those are some gutter dudes - Carnage is sick!!!! xyz of course! ghetto link more bad pictures...Two One as a Crew are alright, lots of room for improvement!please encourage the guys to join forums like this, put their joints up so all can hear, cause some are not on radio and no videos...i don't want to sound like i know it all, but there is need to build up good compettion and quality in Zed Hip Hop! where are guys like Al Kani, Dope G, J-Rox, Greezy (Freak producer), Pope, Pharoah, and Ace on those lists - its goes on and on... I also feel we need more Radio shows and Podcasts, good look on your blog...keep it up and start a podcast as well!

hey whats up?apreciate the effort even though i think the research was limited and somewhat from one angle.to start with,i dont think we should realy mess with words like commercial, underground and mainstream because the game isint that established.i happen to have been in the game a minute and was prevelaged to release what i would call the first mixtape to be sold on the LSK streets by pitch black in 2004 and i stand to be corrected in case others did it before.some of the cats listed in the commercial category have never sold a demo in their lives(no diss).not that i should have been mentioned but i happen to have won the only official king of lsk battle staged in 2005 at the cage beating soem of those cats on the battle category,so it shokes me when i see cats in the top five list that i have never heard of.pitch black aint gutter because they have sold about 500 cds from their two mixtapes put together, namely the definition and so far so hood.they might not be in the media but they are in most peoples bedrooms than any other cats(i stand to be corrected if wrong)so they as commercial as it gets!one love!

what up all mighty! yeah twentys research was limited and a bit one sided...but what would you say your weaknesses have been while releasing your mixtapes! agreed you have sold 500 copies but do you feel you have penetrated the zambian populus and made your mark? personally i feel marketing sucks in the country as a whole and we do not do enough to satisfy our clientelle...advertising,videos,product,quality,shows,launches,billboards,online presence - should all be key words among many that should be part of our campaign strategies...spoken like a politician! lol :D One love
