I ask GOD for enough time in my like for those he made me to touch
I swear I'll rhyme on this mic pace maker and crutch
I feel I owe at least that much to myself,....... my Paps
my Mom......, my kin, ......my friends......Blacks

...It's only an exploration,
alphabetic translation...
of ancestrous prints...
...on historical cave rocks,
left behind by my forefathers...

A complex ancient language
broken down into a million tongues,
then printed on scrolls...
...books
and even virtual pages...
into your computer screens!

So... I write to Decipher.
Fuck wit' me n' I'ma break u' skull, expose u' brains to reality/
jus' to make u' think outside that box u' call a head/

the reason i write
is to reduce the weight
coz sometimes thoughts
get to heavy for the mental
and tryna supress them could drive u insane
at other times thoughts just escape through ink
and find freedom in the writing pad
Use knowledge to irrigate ma brain,so ma thoughts fertile with wisdom

I dont write
I spray paint
I reveal
I describe
I potray
I show
I give
but I dont write

for the words
they come from somewhere else

and the thoughts
they never seem to end

my emotions bear fruit in my labour
my labour is a blessing from my saviour
"a talent" some say

my inspiration lie in birth
and the wish of men to walk this earth
"a curse' I'd say

but I dont write
no I script Ideas every once in a while
I spit in ears by any chance of a smile
I drip in fears like many men before my time

but I dont write
no I breath life into a blank page
inject the mic with character
and live a life that lift my words

Because the planet is covered in dirth
And the world is made out of words...
This time, love doesn't hurt, nor is is complicated

have nt been visiting for a while but after after reading through what you pips wrote i cant just say how it makes me feel,so i write .

i write because i am gifted
and my thoughts help quarantine sorrow

i write for peace for the soldier in pain
and the generals of shame

i write when angry and emotionless
try to express my feelings
poetry my therapy

through the prison windows
in my eyes, looking down
i see poverty strolling through the
neighboring streets leaving footprints
of hunger and sagregation.
so i write with teardrops of pain and pity

i write of the dark alleys in my mind
and the faces of the scene to the unseen

i write of love and the ones that i
feel and the one that i have seen
the ones that should be seen and the ones that made me sin
i live tru time nd sit on space am da element dat en bein discovered yet

I write to release incarcerated thoughts from pens...
They take they clothes off they body to cover they mind
they naked bodies then face reality with a mind so blind

i write cause revolution had me summoned
my pen is the gun,my pad is the holster
together we channel words in between lines
tales of when the mind was fertilised by knowledge
encaged by thoughts, held captive by the pain of silence
so i write to paint light on the darkness,
to expose truth from the lies,
to shelter uncollected scattered thoughts,
and maybe one day when its said and done,
they will say i wrote because it was my divine purpose
BLOOD,SWEET AND TEARS;DEPICT THE POETRY THAT INDUCES YOUR FEARS;
SO TO APPEASE THE DEAD;LET THE POSSESSED DANCE.

I usually don't write
but my thoughts does
they "rape" my head
and force their way into my mind
I shut my eyes in shame
but I still see things
things I don't want to see
things I don't even understand
things I'm forced to translate...
into words on paper..
so as to comprehend...

So I write to understand my thoughts.

jus' to make u' think outside that box u' call a head/

I write
away pain and pleasure
so my head can ease itself
of the suffocation of pressure.
I write for the shelves
of future enthusiasts
who will discover, and delve
into the depths of my arts
once my gift, my world and I, part.

I write
every letter like it's my last.
Every word aiming at any heart
brave enough to take it up
and make it its own.
I write on stones
tree barks, websites,
and scrolls scrawled with notes on end times
I paint fear with shades of power.
I belong in the sheds of cowards
and tombs of heroes.
My memories and thoughts as strange as my visions.
Too much salt intended for dilution.
