LYRICIST LOUNGE
Yeah, and guess who we cut up with on our way out ??? one of AHH's Mod.so we decided to squeeze till he squeals, Here is Twenty -Six As T6 and our correspondent - AKJGFGH :D : in an interesting tete-a-tete

AKJGFGH :D : Pls can we meet you?
T6: John Allan Zgambo a.k.a Twenty6 a.k.a T-DuB a.k.a Beat-monster, reppin the streets of Kabwata, Lusaka in the Hiphop Nation of Zambia sir!!!

AKJGFGH :D :Ok,now who influenced you into the art of Hip-hop?

T6: Well, my inspiration into hiphop was not an individual, but the culture itself. As a kid, I used to pay profound attention to what was hot on the streets, and at that time, rap was at every corner. So I started doing freestyles and recording them on tape/cassette recorders with my brother and friends. Then I started recording beats in the same way (Banging the table, spoons etc) until I was 15, when I got a PC from an uncle and started producing using software programs like fruity and cubase.

AKJGFGH :D :how did you get to know about AHH?

Well, I had been visiting the site regularly in the past, just observing posts and so forth. But I never really got the chance to register then, because most of the time I just used to sneak into the secretary's office and use her PC 4 5 minutes and all. Then I was asked to help out at my Parents' cafe, and that's when I got enough time to dedicate to the site.

AKJGFGH :D : Who do you think is the best rapper alive?

You???   Umhhh!!! Jay-Z...He's been there longer than most of these who claim they are the cream...And he never fails to impress, neither does his flow fade...

AKJGFGH :D : seeing that you are new here, what can you account for your meteoric rise to Mod status?

Well, cred goes to Juma4 who had been observing my activity in the first few days I was here. I was actually elevated to mod in my first week, and that's not because I was being favored, but because I love this site and I put everything into making sure it runs smoothly. Plus you were the first person to give me pointers when I officially joined, and that REALLY helped.
AKJGFGH :D : Years Of Wisdom ( how old are you)?

T6:  i'm a youngster - just a few months older than Ace Hood???

AKJGFGH :D : Your Dating Status?

T6: Currently in a relationship with an angel. So I probably owe God dowry

AKJGFGH :D : Your Best Movie?

T6: Not much of a movie fan, but I would say 'The Transporter'

AKJGFGH :D : Favourite Saying?

T6: '' You worry, you die...You don't worry, you die...So why worry??? ''

AKJGFGH :D : Your Dream Woman would look like?

T6: My current girlfriend

AKJGFGH :D : There has been a lot of Beef amongst AHH's Artistes, what are your views about this?

T6: Well, most of the beef I have noticed hasn't really been serious, but one stands out among all - and that's probably the 'Mwafrika' beef in Kenya or something. The problem is, people on our continent like 'fitting in' if I may say. Just because BIG and PAC, NAS and JAY or NWA and NO VASELINE did it, they also want to follow suit. It doesn't make sense because you don't gain anything from it. No one is going to give you an AHH award or something. At the end of the day, you would have wasted time and money for nothing.

AKJGFGH :D : Apart from Rap what do you do best?

T6: I'm a producer, so my hobbies don't go far beyond music. I produce mainly Hiphop and RnB.

AKJGFGH :D : What CD have you Got In your Deck Right now?

T6: "We the Best" Dj Khaled. That's mostly because The Runners did most of the Production on it. Major Runners fan.

AKJGFGH :D : Your Best AHH members?

T6: Wreck and Juma4

AKJGFGH :D : How is Hiphop in Zambia like?

T6: Zambian Hiphop scene is hot locally. There is alot of credible competition and skill.

AKJGFGH :D : In one of your threads you spoke on drugs,Indo and Hiphop, what's your take on this?

T6: I stand against drug use in Hiphop, but I also understand that maybe it's part of the culture. But basically, 'crack is wack!' (Got that from Whitney)

AKJGFGH :D : Your best African Hiphop Artist?

T6: Would say Mode9, but Proverb and Zubz are also good.

AKJGFGH :D : Favourite Food?

T6: Favourite food? Well, don't know if yogurt counts but i'm an addict...

AKJGFGH :D : If you were to choose AHH's Top 3, how would your list look like?

T6: Well, already gave two of my favourite members, and the third would be 'intel'

AKJGFGH :D : Do you think Hiphop is Dying ?

T6: It is NOT and will NOT

AKJGFGH :D : Favourite Sport?

T6: Soccer!

AKJGFGH :D : Your Best Soccer Club?

T6: Arsenal (Gunner for Life!)

AKJGFGH :D : Do you Drive? what's your Favourite model?

T6: I Just started...Mercedes is my favourite

AKJGFGH :D : Do your Parent support your Hiphop Dreams?

T6: They do...But they have always told me to put education first. Just a matter of balancing.

AKJGFGH :D : What Do you hope to become?

T6: The best Producer there has ever been.

AKJGFGH :D : Nice Chatting with you TWENTY SIX hope you honor this invitation again anytime we call

T6: Thanks AKJGFGH. Its been a pleasure and sure, I'm always available

ALBUM REVIEW

On this first issue we won't be reviewing an album till subsequently, instead we'll take a look at biodata of an African Rap artist who is fast coming up.here's tha precepts:arrow:

Full Name: Terry. T. Madaki
A.k.a.: Tha Rapman, Joe - Spazm, Afro Joe
.
D.O.B.: 28th January, (Aquarius)
Past time: Reading books, writing (songs/poems), watching movies/TV
Early influence: LL.Cool J, Slick Rick, Rakim, Run DMC & Masta Ace.
Later influence: Eminem, Redman, Talib Kweli, Kool Keith, Juice, 2pac, Notorious B.I.G.Marital Status: Single
Prized Possession: Walkman & my rhyme pad (it got missing once, and I felt like I lost a girl).
Educational background: OND (Mass Communications), Kaduna Polytechnic. (Plans to go back for HND).
Advice to beginners: Take time out to write. Be inspired (by topic or a beat) before doing so. Be original!
Who I’m cool with: Everyone on SWATROOT (family!), Ruggedman, Tribesmen, Plantashun Boiz, KD World, and A.T. & B-Qube.

Ambition: To f*#k the Nigerian music industry inside out! Tha Rapman is the future! Remember that. To promote Hip Hop music the only way I can… through my music.

Quotes: “I don’t do Afro Hip Hop. What’s that? Hip hop is already African enough because it was created by black people in America, and where did they originate from? You can communicate in any language with your people be it, Pidgin-English, your language or just plain English. I don’t do pidgin, that aint me! But I intend to be flexible in my next album sha!”
“Battling is a form of Hip hop.
No beef, just healthy competition.
Any rapper worth his salt
will tell you that.”

SIDEWALKS

Yeah you know it'z funny how we go about surfing the net, conversing and dissing peops who are miles away.on sidewalk we take a look at the beef situation in AHH.

according to our ever reliable sources, Wreck-a-damus is getting beefed once again, the other time, half of the Board claim he was riding Sike's D***K (Gay players don't get the wrong idea) this time he got dissed from a certain Unknown Quantity. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16562
Also Some of Sike's Text seems to be Missing , Most Notably were his famous HOF lines V INTEL, according to our reliable Grapevine sources, they say this is the case of Robbing Peter to pay paul :? How? don't ask us, but we know Sike participation in AHH has greatly dwindled, No thx to the haters :!:

Our Thx and W/e to all who cared Most Especially JUMA 4 thank you sir for making such a fine site and it's up to us to use it wisely.

Till next month the crew's signing off, and if you are interested in making this bigger and better through your ideas and what-have-yous plz contact Wreck-a-damus or if you don't like the Sh***t he says contact any of the MODS who will get it across see ya

one thing i noticed though...People be posting a lotta freestyles that get over looked here, Cyphers get activity but freestyles/pre-writtens dont get feedback from members, maybe we could have a whole 'nother thread for freestyles/pre-writtens...or have an advertising thread where heads who jus posted new freestyles/pre-writtens can go advertise it or somin...any takers? any other ideas?

Top poetry?, it wasn't really a ranking, tbut mos' def presently 1thoughts2many is one of the hottest Artiste in that section . the object of it all was to encourage more poetry and hopefully next issue , we'll have a top 10/20 poetry, freestyle etc

yeah i'll own up to a 20% bias content but really my assessment was averagely premised on verifiable proofs. I'm glad you are willing to help and hopefully we'll be asking for your help and ideas in the next issue so as to make it more fair

and R.i.S appreciated
