simplicity is it for me in videos but since the yahoo boys took over music, you probably need over a million to shoot a video and the annoying thing is that they all dont have any creative and unique concepts. so, to all y'all grinding out there. it will happen soon homies.

Thanks Xplicit for raising that point. All you see (in most videos these days) are young men in hugging denims and small shirts, rocking dark shades, doing funny dance steps (pity the word 'swag' had to bear the brunt) and displaying their foolishness. Does Nigeria's future lie in the hands of ignoramuses?

Lol I dont know about u guys, but artists like ll cool j, rakim, nas, biggie,50cents etc were fashionable and still kept it real

those guys still have classy videos and rep hip hop all day without trying to be Jay-z. that is my idea of a rap video. when director and artist lack creativity, what is left to be desired? :?: :idea:

true talk! Creativity matters alot when it comes to music videos especially hip hop. Another thing is lifestyle I wish our artists will show us more of naija in their videos and reduce the amount studio scenes. If we believe we are africans like jjc said then we have to keep it real and practise what we preach!
