Hello, I am a struggling author. I'm writing a scene about a pathetic white guy trying to get an African American woman into bed. He's trying to use hip hop lingo. I don't listen to hip hop, so I can't even begin to fake it.

Any ideas? He's basically trying to say, "I want to sleep with you."

Thank you!

My suggestion will be....start listening to hip hop. This isn't a survey group.

i use to know of a site at hiphoplinguistics where u 'd find the lingos you re talkin bout but checkd it now and the content of the site seem to ve changed..but let's see,the guy could say;
"yo hon,you kno i'm that white flava not like em negros you use to,yo caramel i aint calling you no bitch or hoe .Jst want ya to give my white arse some black love on the bed sheets!"

if you don't listen to hip hop, why did u decide that this white guy would use hip hop lingo in the first place? cuz he wanna get an african-american woman in bed? i see a very negative connection between what u call 'hip hop lingo' (which u aren't familiar with so shouldn't be using) and an african-american woman. Like that's the only language she'll understand? I don't know the clue of the whole story, so I try not to jump to any conclusions.

Uhm, btw, I hope it's not a biography, cuz that would be just sad :roll: :twisted:

oh and if the guy in ur book uses the lines Nebu gave u, I hope u give the african-american woman the pleasure of fucking the guy up (= beating his ass black and blue)
This time, love doesn't hurt, nor is is complicated
