Why we chose to disable anonymous posting:

1. lately there's been a lot of people using the forum. most of them are taking responsibility for what they write. however there's been an increasing number of bullshitters who post insults, racist stuff or other content that makes the forums look bad. even though we can see your IP and so we could block you, we don't have the time to check on every user.
in general you'd expect people to be big enough to bear the consequences of what they say, but it's not always like that. we expect that the new login will make the forum a better place by making it more difficult for the coward cats to post.

2. having registered members will optimize communication, in other words you will know who you are talking to. at the moment people are sometimes too lazy to log in, and consequently the forum is littered with nicknames that will keep you guessing who's behind it.

3. a member of the forum can customize his/her profile which makes it easy to see where someone's from or how many postings he/she's produced.

We'll test this obligatory login for a month or so... let us know what u think.
